I was having a problem with stumbling when cold and high idle when cold, did a little investigating and found a vacuum leak, repaired the leak.
The car runs 100x better, no stumbling but at idle the car idles at 1200 RPM - once you hit the throttle the car returns to 900 RPM every single time.
Great example is, pull up to a stop sign, hold the clutch in and the car sits at 1200 RPM then if you hit the gas real quick the car returns to 900 RPM.
I have not unplugged the battery since finding and repairing the leak, could the ECM need a reset (hate losing my radio stations), or do you think it's a Throttle Position or Idle Air Sensor issue?
Have you cleaned the TB and the IAC housing and all the passages? Set the timing and/or make sure it is right. After which you can use a scanner to see exactly what the idle speed is. Also check the IAC counts, should be around 20 counts give or take. Then set the TPS.
Yeah, I cleaned them a few months ago. I think this is related to the vacuum leak I fixed - but I will check them out to be safe after resetting the ECM.
