getting ready to put new injectors into a new chrome manifold and rail...just discovered it's missing the clips....advance auto wanted 15 bucks a clip...I know I can get them cheaper so i'll wait...but, found a few threads that say the clips are not necessary...any thoughts???
I've got an extra NOS set of AC Delco clips you can have. Shoot me a PM with your address, and I'll ship them USPS Priority on Monday. Include an email address for the delivery confimation.

Advanced Auto used to carry the fuel injector clips. They are not on their website anymore. The one they carried was made by Delphi (Part Number FH10109). They are available on eBay in a pack of ten for $19 plus shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/FUEL-INJECTOR-CLIPS-DELPHI-FH10109-/150710773078?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item23170fe556&vxp=mtr From my experience, these work on BWD fuel injectors. Not sure about any others. My mechanic said that the clips are a redundant part to protect against fuel spillage in an accident. I have also heard that they were created to hold the injectors in place during factory assembly at GM.

Right now - everything is "speculation" - everything!
OP hasn't been back to the thread since Saturday! Maybe he's already spoken to Jon. Who knows?
haven't spoken to jon...but i'm going to....waiting for the clips..''
went threw this a little in another thread...wanted bosch 111 24 #, they say delphi 22 # are what I need...called twice about that..haven't installed them yet...got the manifold and fuel rail on my bench...
just got off the phone with jon.....deplhi doesn't need the clips....also, he says that using the diaphragm and spring he sent me , will raise pressure to 43.5...which will make the 22# run sweet......sure hope he's right...with some chrome bolts, I can put it all together....
