I have a loose plug that I found while under the car bleeding the clutch slave. If any of you guys know what it is that'd be sweet, it seems like it was loose the whole time but doesnt seem to affect performance.
..... I can see a two prong receptacle in your pics just above where you are holding the plug ... looks like the wiper motor ... vertical cylinder .............

Wiper motor. Believe it or not that thing has three plugs.

Wiper motor has 3 connections but I believe all 3 of them are 3 pin requirements. I overlooked the first snapshot where it appears to be a 2 terminal connector and only looked at the second where it couldn't actually be seen.
It's not the wiper motor, I've already got that reconnected. The two wire colors are solid Pink and solid White.
..... Pink and white connect to the HEI distributor ... pink is power and white is tach .... however , that is NOT a typical HEI plug ... the wires to the dizzy are usually separate ........... Its C191 ...plugs into the bottom of the wiper motor cylinder ... just about where the convoluted tubing touches it .....

Yes pink and white are nearly always coil/ignition or tach related.
I remember seeing someplace, I think it was NAPA, that had the two HEI single connectors made into one connector. Given the colors of the wire, that almost has to be what it is.
I'd check what "C409" mentions for the connector at the end of the "armature/field" end of the motor. The later motors were 3 X 3 connectors but the early might well have used a 2 in that location and when/if you replaced the motor you used a replacement harness. This would be similar to an early Camaro requirement also. On an early car it's not C191.
There's also no seal on it and that would hint it plugs directly into a component. The later motors were 3 wire and I believe with a seal.
Pink/white in an engine compartment certainly hint tach/12V.
Pink would indicate washer pump in this case likely. Do your washers work? I didn't see anything in your snapshots that hinted pink or white!

Here is an armature end cap like you should find on an '87 or earlier motor. Pay no attention to the Camaro reference. You can "zoom" and inspect it. eBay is really good for images that do work! If your motor has been replaced then you would find a three terminal connector.
We have a winner, the wires must have faded with time as they are now pink and white, however the plug went into the bottom of the wiper motor without issue, thanks again everyone.
