Default No spark

I apologize up front for being lazy and not searching but I'm whipped.

I spent 14 hrs today retrieving 2 LT1 vettes today and the 1993 that was supposed to run would not start when I got there. No spark when cranking the engine. I tried sticking a different plug into the wire and nothing at all.

Thankfully I invested in a giant winch for my trailer so I didn't have to use Armstrong to get it loaded.

Where should I start troubleshooting?

no spark at coil and no injector clicking. SES light appears disabled. I am going to check for codes through the speedo but the battery has been out.

I got an H16 and an H42 when checking the codes.

I plugged another opti in and spun it with a drill and got injector clicking

Buy a FSM for any LT and that will give you the diagnostics for any of those cars. Without it, you're looking at guessing with some expensive parts.

OK I erased all the codes and started fresh. I kept getting H42

I swapped out the icm and the coil since I had one of the parts car and she started!

Now I'm getting an H14 so I'm trying to find that plug now to see if it is even connected.

H14 was caused by skinned wires going to the water pump sensor. Fixed!
