Default FX3 shock installation question

You know that actuator on top of shock? How do you get that sucker off? I'm keeping the stock ones, so I don't have an instruction manual on how to take it off and my vette book doesn't say anything about shocks with FX3. Do I just lift it straight off?

Theres a small wire clip that surrounds the actuator, and keeps it fastened to the shock. Remove that first. Then it should come off no prob.

For future reference, when you replace the acutator, the computer should automatically recognize that it works. If your light doesnt go off, immediately, or after driving a few minutes and then restarting, you still have a problem.

Good Luck

Thanx a lot! That did just the trick. 1 down; 3 more to go. I think I'll do them tomorrow now that I have somewhat of an idea of what I'm doing.
