The 26 3/4" dimension is center of weld-yoke to the center of the other end-yoke. No slip yoke is included.

I put a Dana 44 in my 94, LT1 with the auto tranny. I had to get the original dana 36 driveshaft shortened 1" and balanced. Got all Spicer u-joints, too.
