I'm a recent owner of a '95 LT1 Coupe, my first Vette. The previous owner kept the car 100% stock but I'd like to have a bit more of a growl from the exhaust. I've checked a bunch of YouTube videos on the different exhausts (Borla, Flowmaster) and think that the Magnaflow has the right sound I want. The entire exhaust system is in great shape so I'm only looking to do minimal replacement for the achieved effect. Also, I'd like to keep the LT1 tips if possible but don't know whether this will effect the desired growl. Any suggestions or recommendations you could share? Model and item specifics would be helpful. Muchas gracias!
Just an FYI...... installed axle-back MagnaFlows ('93), and was disappointed that the noise level was not much louder than stock. But, overtime (3 months), the noise level gradually increased, along with the drone, to an annoying level.

The tips will have no effect on the sound level.
Same with my 1990 Vert... the drone got bad over time. The glass packing must have started to deteriorate . Ripped the system off and using "no drone" mufflers from CC and will get a Corsa system by spring. Live and learn the hard way $$$

I have Magnaflows on my 95 Lt1. Sorry, dont know which model as they were on when I purchased the Vette. The PO, did not remember which model he had put on.
They have a great rumble, not bad at speed, really not heard much and I can listen to my Sirius radio and enjoy it. However in town you can drive her quite or make a real ruckus out of town.
