Window only goes half way up!
Hi Guys,
My driver side window only goes halfway up. It still goes down though. Once I heard it clicking trying to go up I stopped. Gosh, everything is going wrong all at once. :eek: I can't believe it. My driver side headlight bearings went out, and my radiator sprung a leak. Ugh. :mad I'm thinking the track is gunked up or somethin' and the motor can't hack the weight. Both my windows go up to SSSSSSLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWWW. If it is a lube problem, what do you guys suggest using? Slick 50? Also any suggestions from past experiences are appreciated. Thanks. Does it roll up with a little assistance from you? I personally think the track is broke. Mine did the same thing. One day, it went down, clicked and wouldnt go all the way back up again. The track is pretty cheap. You do need to becareful when drilling out the rivets holding the regulator assembly together. I broke mine and had to make shift it back together. As for lube, I dont know what to suggest. White lithium grease?
