Ok I've tried going through the posts but can't find the answer. Issue is no cooling fans at all. I jump the ALDL and fans don't run. I can jump each relay however and each fan runs. I checked fuse panel and big fuse under hood and they look ok. Ideas? Thanks!
I don't want to modify the system. I need to know if there are any additional troubleshooting procedures I can do to locate the problem. Thanks
My error...... I should have been more explicit, as I wasn't suggesting you modify your electrical system......
the link includes a wiring schematic that I thought you could use in conjunction with a volt
meter to isolate your problem.

Ok I replaced the temp sensor/switch in the block (between plugs 2 and 6) and still no fans even when I jump diagnostic connector (pins 4 & 12). Like I said I can jump the relays by the shroud and fans come on. Any other ideas? Thanks

That sensor is for the analog gage. It does not interface with the
ECM/PCM. The temp sensor on the water pump (front) is the operational sensor:
I replaced that one last year but I guess I need to check it. BTW it isn't throwing any codes like it did when that sensor went out originally? Thanks for any help.

Yes, the digital sensor (water pump) is the only temp sensor that
will throw a code.
