Default Upper front control arm confirmation

Just got my arms back from having new bushing pressed in and the shop removed my markings. Can someone confirm for me that the driver’s side is marked L2 and the passenger is R2?

I have a pair of suspension units and cast in the control arm about 3 inches from the bushing is L (diamond) 3 attached to a left spindle and R (diamond) 3 attached to the right spindle. You didn't mention year of yours so I don't know that the 2 is significant or not. Coincidently mine is from a '93 with 3's.

Post a snapshot and I'll compare for you!

L is for left ( drivers ) and R is for right ( passenger ). when i polished mine i made sure to leave the R and L visible. without the L and R's when you lay the arms out flat the balljoint either leads or lags to the center of the bushings and i never took the time to tell which way they fit onto the cradle. but i also have a set of unmolested arms that i could compare to.

It's a 96, I assume all 89+ will be the same. Better to ask and fix it now then find out the hard way when it comes time to align it. Thanks!
