I am a newbie here. So you'll probably get a few laughs. What is in or behind the huge box on the passenger side dash. It sticks out like 4 inches. It is an 89 C4 coupe. Can this be removed or is it a necessary component?

Dope stash?!?!? No its a crash pad, useless as ta ta's on a boar hog, They do make an eliminator panel. Just check any of our vendors to the left.
