I've been working on my 84 Crossfire and finally straightened out the top end vacuum limes. Now when things seem well another issue, It softly shakes at idle the idle does not move more then 1 rpm over or under 7 when warm but volts are around 13-12.8 just got a GM Code Reader planning on seeing what the codes are. Just wanting to see if any one has had issue. Has new wires plugs, cap, rotor, Coolant Temp Sensor with New Pigtail connector, air filter and new fluids. Buying EGR Valve solenoid, EGR and air cleaner sensor. Any Suggestions?
ran good in the warm weather now that it's cold not running to well using more gas.
The running different at different temps, sounds like the coolant temp sensor. Its just below the water neck on the manifold. Also 700 seems a bit low to me, but mine is around 900. Mine will also stumble when low on power. You will especially notice it when the fans kick on. Maybe a bigger alternator is in order? You need to talk to tom400cfi, I think he knows about all there is to know about the cfI motors. h

Not running well ? idle, accell, cruise? you could check grounds are clean and tight. DTC set during hard failures, not always with skewd readings. Are TBI sync'ed?
