First , thank you all for any insight you may have given especially the pics provided by gemsvett .I spent some time yesterday being sure that I bled the lines well by first trying a gravity bleed ,then I used my simple bottle with a check valve (which I prefer for other my vehicles ) Then since I have wheels off I stuck my mity vac on and sucked fluid thru .No air noticed as I expected . Just going over everything before I start tearing out abs .Took the car for a ride and still have hard pedal with poor braking .I have good vac and booster is air tight . I changed relays 3 on abs just for the hell of it abs still not working (fuse not blowing now} .I won't disconnect the light bulb and forget about abs as someone mentioned when I posted for parts as I feel that the brakes are being compromised by something . I have all new mc ./booster /soft lines/calipers pads/rotors. .I suspect the problem is in the abs valving as I did before . I was running searches on google for more ideas before removing the unit and that led me back here to the vet forum .I found a thread here that ran for 3 years 14 pages with discussions about this very problem involving c 4 braking system problems titled ( Hard brake pedal solution, finally!! ) a lot of very good info in this thread by some very intelligent members but in the end there was no straight answer to problems members had brought up . So this seems to have been a c4 issue for some time . Some cars develop the same issue after brake sys are rebuilt such as mine . it surprised me that thruout the article no one opened up a abs valve as gemvette did .A few mention removing the unit and still having trouble even going to different year mc to increase stopping power . I hope to make time to remove the abs unit this week and will post pics if I find any blockage or damage .

ok so if you do take the abs modulator out make sure you suck all the fluid out of the resivours at the master first, it will all drain out the lines after you disconnect the unit anyway but will be less to clean up, I used a simple 12 volt charger for a flash light with some leads off my fluk multi meter to test it with air to bench test it, on the module where the main power cable was removed there are three post in a row closest to the coils, those are ther coil power, with the metal covered relay off one of the posts is the power to the coils, i cannot remember which one but I think it was on the oppisit side of the three posts in the middle, with the air flowing to the inlets of the coils when you energize the coils you can hear the air shut off. here is a post i found the shows the lines on the abs unit.
