So many threads warn of mail order chips. As far as the fuel pressure is concerned it was set at 45 no more no less engine off turn the key for a couple seconds. Other than that the stock computer is adjusting fuel and air mix. If you were me what move would you make ?
Theres a few ways you can do this. First, mail order. Do you have an l98 or lt1? L98 your options are pretty much TBIchips (who I really recommend, based upon my conversations with him) or TPIS. If you have an LT1, I would hands down go with pcm4less.

Then, you could do a datalogging session. Buy datalogging software (some tuners loan you theirs for an extra price) and send your logs in via email and have a chip burned based off of that.

Or third you could get custom dyno tuning. For heavy mods, there is no replacement for a custom dyno tune. My local shop is offering a tune for $500 and that includes WOT and partial throttle, with as many runs in between as it takes to make it right. Whoever is quoting you $1200 and 2 days of time for a dyno tune probably has never done an l98 and would be using you as a Guinea pig

Based on the mods listed in C4's bio, I would guess his stock tune is pretty close. If anything it might need some tweaking of the MAF tables and the correct injector size. Those changes certainly do not warrant a dyno tune.

There are different types of mail order tuners. Avoid those that are sold as Stage I or Stage II, etc. A good mail order tuner will burn a chip specifically for your car based on your mods. They may have to make several attempts to get the tune right. To get it right, you need to do data logging and provide them with the files.

If you have a laptop, data logging is an inexpensive first step. Purchase an ALDL cable from either Moates.com or ALDLcable.com. Cost is about $65. Then download a free version of TunerPro RT from their website. And that's all you need to get started. TunerPro RT will display BLMs (Block Learn Mode). Ideally your BLMs should be 128. A higher number indicates a lean condition and a lower number is rich. The TunerPro data file can be converted to Excel and emailed to a tuner if you need to make a change.

I agree with the prior 3 posts. If you determine tuning is warranted, we can point you in the right direction.
