No manual downshift

Default No manual downshift
92 auto, when I try to manual downshift to any gear with my foot off the accelerator it will just coast like its in neutral, when I apply a little pressure to accelerator it downshifts just fine, I did the cable adjustment but didn't fix it....any ideas?

If you have no engine braking coasting down probaly over running clutch / sprag failure. Trans would have to come apart to fix.
