1994 code question

Had some issues with my vette stalling after short drives and restarting. Check codes and got H41 in module 1
Book says history code loss of PCM serial data communication . Any idea what that means. I was thinking I would see a o2 señor code but only the H41. It's a LT1 auto

Module 1 code 41 means the ECM and CCM aren't talking as expected.

Suspect grounds, contacts at the modules, wires between the modules, the modules.

Does the Speedo flash "SYS" at any time?

No on sys , I'm gonna check cables. H (history) means its probably a old code so may have been fixed before I bought it . Thanks
