Default SR or TPI

I want more power in my 88 vette. I live in Poland so there is no economical to import SuperRam to Poland. It will cost more than two times as much as in USA. Next story is that I have not money to afford even used one.
So I thinking about make SR it with my friends. They have everything to do that project in stainless steel.
They can make bigger runners for ported TPI plenum too.
For money reasons I must stay with stock cam and ECM program too.
I can port manifold as much I can
So there is two possible projects:

1. Super ram + ported stock manifold
2. Stock ported plenum + bigger runners + ported stock manifold

I MUST stay now with stock cam and stock ECM program

So with project give me more power?

Jerry
Till now I have some mods as a lot people there: open custom made exhaust, open MAF, open lid, k&n filter, ported plenum, disconnected EGR and AIR, AFPR, B&M shift improver kit, frisbee removed, TB bypass.

youll get more out of a fabricated SR and ported manifold i think, but you wont be able to utilize it until you change the cam and reprogram the chip.

Doable but risky in the fact that sending packages to other coutries may impose a huge tax on the value and its contents.

I sent a package worth/insure at 200 bucks to Europe somewhere(I forget the country name) and they opened the package to inspect, plus went to the guys house and wanted 200 dollars in tax money before giving him the box!!!!

If he rufused the box, then it wouldve cost more to have it resent back to me.
(long story short, they finally just dropped the box off at his house one day and never came back for the tax money)

So it can depend on the country youre sending it to.Youd more or less may have to insure the package for under 50 bucks or so to avoid those taxes.I didnt know at the time that anything over 100 bucks or so will have that value of imported tax added.I wouldve just added 50 bucks for its value and take a chance with taxes. If they open the box to inspect, and think its worth more, youll have to pay.
Crazy aint it?
:)

We can just spray paint it and make it look old and worth $2.25. :) One kerosene dip or blast with brake cleaner should clean it up. :)

Conntact TPIs in Sweden. They sell the minram. Or you can conntact "corvette sweden" in Stockholm. They can help you get the parts. Much less cost to ship it from Sweden to Polan.
