Default plastic power brake booster

Anyone know who sells the repair kits for these? When I was at the dealerships, we put kits in them all the time and in fact I still have the tool to measure the housing. buying a new one would be good, but need to save where I can. thanks, KC

I replaced just the diaphragm on my '86 many years ago (about 20). I bought it at the dealer.

I looked through the parts book but only saw diaphragms called out for '90 and newer cars. Maybe the older ones are buried in there somewhere, but I didn't see them. Having a part number will give you a good start on finding one (if they are still available).

You didn't give us a year for your car, so I can't be more specific than this.

1985 z51, Thanks for looking cliff. I need to locate a used parts book sometime. Been trying to talk the dealership out of theirs for a day so I can spend the time photocopying it. I think I'm wearing them down.LOL

I have a C4 parts book on CD. I copied it to my hard drive to speed up the scrolling. The main problem with it is that it is scanned. That means you can't search it and everything gets pixelated if you magnify it.

I downloaded a bunch of pictures from the Nalley GMC web site. They have parts books for any GM car and a limited inventory of parts. I cross-referenced the pictures to the pages in the parts CD. These pictures are much higher quality and can be blown up many times without loss of quality. I like their site a lot. You can specify your car and year and it will only show you the pictures that apply to you. Here's a link, already configured for Corvettes. Pick a year and have fun:

I wish we could access the online GM parts catalogs. I talked with a parts guy and he told me the dealer pays a subscription fee to use it and he has to log in every morning with a password.
