fuel preasure psi question
hello everyone its me again.
I go right to the point here. please let me knnow what you make out of this
my fuel preasure with the engine off is like 44 PSI more or less
my fuel preasure with the engine at idle is 36 psi more or less
if I hit the gas preasure stay about 34, 35 , 36 psi. more or less, but I understand that a 1986 corvette have to be between 40 to 45 psi
correct me if Iam wrong
I feel the car have a poor preformance.
what can you make out of my fuel preasure.

This is correct. When vacuum is applied to the regulator it reduces pressure. If you go wide open throttle vacuum drops, and pressure rises. Pull vacuum hose while idling it should jump up to 44.

Those numbers look good to me. At Wide Open Throttle you have very little vacuum so it would be a little less than the engine off reading of 44psi. Pull the vacuum line off while idling and you should see between 40 and 44psi.

Just like what MrWillys and Klyde wrote...your fuel pressure is fine. Your performance issues are dealing with something else.
Maybe check your fuel injectors for balance...especially if you have over 70K in miles....and you have a smooth idle issue.
