cool zip tie trick!
thought id get this out to everyone instead of just the one forum as it may benefit you all. its a little trick I used on the 81 I rebuilt for a friend in order to keep the plug wires from burning up in the extremely tight engine bay.
hope it helps some of you, let me know what you think
merry Christmas

NASCAR teams have done that for years but not everyone follows NASCAR so thanks for posting a good idea. I have done this many times.

Neat trick.
Black zip ties would blend in better.

Because zip ties are available in a variety of colors, it would be easy to match the ties to different spark plug wire colors.

Haha I never knew other people did this too. I did it on mine like 1-2 years ago because I was to cheap to buy the actual separators and I actually think they look good.

if you will look on the back of the package, you will see they only are good up to 185 degrees F. So, be careful where you use them.

Nice trick. Just make sure you dont pull the ties too tight as they will cut thru the insulation in time.
