Default Brodix heads

A set of Brodix -8 heads came up for sale local to me used. They are already ported and come with flow sheet (flow 280@.600). I have looked them up and seen some opinions on them.
I am looking to upgrade my ProComp 210 heads (I know, I know...) on my 385 / Stealth Ram / 280XFI. They are the 63.5cc chambers so my compression goes up a little (currently 64cc).
Are these worth grabbing? Of course I want AFR's but these are available and at a reasonable price (1/3 AFR price new).

Thanks for any opinions, guys.

Nothing wrong with the -8 casting. One of first really good aftermarket castings designed so professional head porters could tailor the finished product to be ideal for many different combs.

Everything depends on the condition of the guides and if the springs and other stuff will work for you.

I figured I would have to change springs and I guess I can't check the guides while assembled so it's a gamble. My other concern is that it is the spread port exhaust with adapters - not sure how this will effect my hooker header location in relation to the frame (spreads the width of the exhaust flanges outward). Or reconfigure / reweld my headers to fit (I have a TIG so not too big of a deal). All of my AC/heater stuff is gone so I am not worried about hitting that.
I keep thinking that the mods and new parts may put me into AFR price range.
Doesn't a forum member here have good deals on AFR?
