Default dome light question

My dome light sometimes will stay on when the doors are shut. I am thinking it is a door ajar switch. Can you test them? Ohms?
I was going to buy new ones but can't find any. Found a few used on ebay.
Anyway this was the fix on my pickup when I had the same problem.
thanks again

Can you tell me the correct bulb that need to be in their?

Wrong switches.

The courtesy lights are controlled by the switches on the hinge pillars. The switch contacts might be corroded.

There might be a problem with the courtesy light delay module.
