Aside from the advertised weight difference I'd think the thickness of the flywheel would be the same as the OE/GM pieces when compared. Both would share the same/similar balance out of the box and the same ring gear.

The F-body FW has a different thickness (than the Y-body Corvette) FW; you need to shave roughly .090" from it.......the parts do not interchange w/o machining.........TRUST ME.....
