abs trouble
any one know how to check the abs unit out it appears when I slam on the brake i get no pulsing affect to help stop wheels can lock up and slid no help from abs will the asr make a difference in this too

ok sorry for the problems but the corvette is a 1992 convertible and I don't recall the whine you talk about from behind will check this out again thanks also no lights except under hard braking that resets with keys cycle

abs help
don't quit understand a master cylinder failure if pressure is constant just no pulsing in the brakes like other cars I own I have car in stored till next month but want to get ideas what to do when I get it to the shop

In addition, get on some loose gravel, go about 10 mph and step on the brakes in order to lock a wheel up. You should hear a ratcheting sound from behind you and an effect on the brake pedal.
If you don't get this ABS is not working.
