95 LT1 Engine Cooling Question

Thanks again for your all of your advice... I tried swapping relays and it didn't change anything, however i did straightened out some wiring and both fans now come on at low speed at 228, then shutoff at 215. So I guess it works as it should?!?! At what point should the fans run at high speed? BTW, I went ahead and ran the AC but the fans don't activate when the AC is on... Is this an issue that I should look into? They do turn on at 228 regardless of the AC tho. Also, does anyone recommend changing out the thermostat to a 180 degree setting? Idk, it's just really uneasy watching that analog gauge get close to the danger zone...
Thanks!
Jerome
A/c needs to hit certain pressure before fan go 'high' mode (or somehow get the temp up to 235 will do it as well). Defrost mode might get it to cycle on 'high'.

The fans should come on with the A/C and it is an issue.
Is everything connected including compressor and high and low pressure sensor.
Is there gas in the system? If Freon is too low, and high pressure sensor does not see enough pressure, the A/C will not come on and might set a code 66. Or if the connector is messed up in any way the result will be the same. The wiper voltage (red/black wire) from the high pressure senor should be about 1 volt at about 80 deg ambient temperature. (Smaller voltage if it is colder). (If near zero volts, it won't work).
Also, if the C68 system senses low Freon, it won't allow the A/C to come on either. It might be a wise to do a complete reset of everything by removing the battery cable. That will clear any lockouts in the control head.
