Just replaced the battery 2months ago in my 90 vette. This past week I didn't drive my car for 2 days. Then Thursday went to go start the car, it didn't want to start. I did notice noise coming from the tape deck. Like it's continuously running, it does it often then stops and would start again. I'm wondering if that's enough of a parasitic drain to kill the battery
If it's a brand new battery, I would say yes. Do your self a favor and get a battery tender like I did, so even if you don;t driver her for several weeks, she's always charged!
The only issue, is the car stays outside under a car cover. As far as the radio goes did u do it or u had some one do it

They were 6 inch round Alpine in the back and 4 inch in the back, which fit perfectly in place of the Bose, and I left the old amp in just not hooked up. You also need to look into replacing the carpet speaker covers with speaker material like I did, what a difference!

Something as simple as a single bulb being stuck on can drain a battery given a sufficient amount of time for it to happen. Try pulling the fuse or unhook the battery and see if it runs down, that would be the test I'd do first.
Double din is merely the size of the radio, a single din would be like a normal size aftermarket stereo and require an adaptor plate to flll in the empty space and the double din would fill the entire space of your old Bose radio.
