Cool. Thanks. I'll see if my local NAPA has them. I'm way overdue to bleed them but hate dealing with the air in the lines I always get doing it the conventional way.

Make sure you get them all nice and tight. When I first installed mine, one of the rear leaked after getting on the road. Just had to tighten it up some more. And I thought I had it on there tight the first time. They are a great item to have on the car though. No more bugging Melanie to help push the pedal. For some reason she always has to screw up the seat position too. I think that was just her way of saying thanks ;).
I never have understood what the big deal is about having to come out into my filthy garage and pump the brake pedal 50-100 times while I cuss the whole time. Geez, sounds like fun to me?? :nonod:
Installed them tonight. What a breeze! Bled one wheel at a time just to be safe. Me likes a lot :yesnod:. I can now flush the whole system cleanly and easily within a half hour. Well worth the $$$. I didn't realize that for $10 you get 2 so I ended up with 8 of them. Oh well, now I have a set for both cars :D. I highly recommend! -Jeff
Just bought four of them from Vette Brakes here in St. Pete along with a set of front and rear Hawk pads. Me and my son are going out into the garage tomorrow to do brakes!
By the way, if you're ever in St. Pete, in addition to stopping by my place for a beer, you should drop in at Vette Brakes just to see their lobby area - have front and rear suspensions for all Vettes on display - very nice!

Jeff, keep those spares handy. I've been using the Speed Bleeders for years and have bled the brakes dozens of times at home and at the track. Over time the thread sealant wears off (it's the stuff that makes em work in the 1st place) and then you have a big mess. Also, 1 stopped working even when very tight and it started to leak fluid on my wheel.
But I still use them because of the convenience. Just have some extras in the portable tool box that goes with me to the track. :)

Jeff:
Who did you order the speed bleeders from? In Summit there are a bunch of different sizes and I was not sure of the size for my 93.
I got them from summit. All C4's and C5's use the same bleeder - 10MM with 1.0 thread pitch (10MM x 1.0). I ordered 4 and got 8 bleeders 'cause I didn't pay attention and see that you get 2 for each P/N ordered. They come with little rubber covers too but I used the GM ones since they have the strap to keep them in place and fit fine. -Jeff

I ordered one part number but only got two bleeders. The person taking the ordered though all four would be in the package.
