Default Can Anyone Identify the Part on a C68 Programer?

I am trying to figure out what the small silver box is on my C68 A/C controller. Also what function does it serve?

In the entire run of the C4 there are I believe 6+ different C68 programmers so the year of the car and the part number that is likely on the white label might help. Since "most" C68 programmers require battery voltage and also ignition voltage it's certainly a relay device of sorts but year and part number from the label would help.

I searched the number "Natron 16042336" and found out its a relay for an 88 vette. Probably a one of the relays for the HVAC system. I am assuming it would be worth it to change out if its available, ....since its such a pain to access.

That's the rear window defroster relay.

On my car it was not attached to the HVAC programmer but it was obvious that it belonged there, so I found an appropriate screw and attached it.
