I am having trouble removing the interior door handle bezel, for removing the inside door trim panel. I don't want to break the plastic bezel, so I better get a little help before going forward.
So far I have removed one screw visible ahead of the inside door handle, and a second behind the interior lamp assembly in the bezel. The Haynes Repair Manual shows more mounting screws in a photo for the '84-'89 bezel. The lower left corner, with the slider on the rod, seems to be the hardest to release and get free. Probably removing the slider from the rod would help, but it's not coming off easily and I don't want to break any of these plastic parts.
Any ideas of what I might need to do, or not doing correctly?
