Pry bars are a must to wedge between the mounts

Its officially bolted in. Took about an hour to seat the mounts and run the bolts. Installed the 3 converter bolts and started lower bell housing bolts. Done for the night hope to get this running by the weekend.

If the Transmission/engine is not fully seated together, you could end up pulling the converter to the engine when you bolt it up.

Just want to put a close to the thread. Spent all day Sunday putting all the parts back on and adding fluids. Cleaned up runners and painted them gloss black. Finished up around 9pm and was exhausted. Tuesday after work, fired motor up and timed it. Broke in motor as instructed per Jegs directions. Car runs smooth, no knocks and great oil pressure. I still have a little bit of adjustment , but hopefully I can get back to my other projects.

Did you take any pics and could you bolt everything right on to the crate engine?

I did take pictures and they are in my albums... not detailed pics, just took them to show progress. And everything did bolt right up to crate motor with the exception of 2 sensors on block that needed pipe reducer and there was a wire harness retainer that there was no thread on new block for it. Also, new pan was just a little deeper than original, but had no problems with any kind of clearance issues. Other than those little issues, I would recommend this Jegs crate motor.
