How are you boosted guys adding fuel? I was going to run the Typhoon 7749 but I'm having second thoughts. I want to keep all my cars original functions but still want to run a 2 bar map and not use an FMU or boost a pump.
Are any of you guys "piggy backing" your ecm's? I've got a megasquirt on a different vehicle and it is easy for me to use, can I piggy back that to my 727?

I'm running the ebl p4 flash-a bit different tables but it's working out pretty good.
Yeah, that's an option but I know it doesn't talk to the CCM in my 91. From what I've been reading, everything will still work but I'll get an error code on the dash. Not burning chips would certainly speed up the tuning process though.

Use the two bar MAP and adjust your VE tables accordingly. The two bar MAP will 1/2 your VE table (50 KPA will really be 100 KPA) and make it more course but you still should be able to tune it by playing with all of the chip setting for MAP effected items. (like timing and items effected by MAP reading)
One other way to make this work is use the 1 bar MAP and only add in the additional fuel with the PE function and 100 KPA VE values in the VE table. At low throttle most boosted cars with a supercharger make low boost so the 100 KPA table could look like stock or close to it but as RPM's rise the additional fuel could be added in to the higher RPM ranges of 100 KPA value of the VE table or you could add it in to the PE vs RPM table. Each of these is a compromise but you can get it to work fairly well with some playing. Tune for good AFR at WOT under boost which means it will be safe but rich if you choose to hold the throttle at some boost setting at high RPM but not full throttle. (In other words that is your compromise) It will work great at all settings under 100 KPA but run rich at less then WOT but above 100 KPA at high RPM if you choose to run the car at that spot.
