Default new fx3 shocks

At the moment, I am in need of new shocks. I dont believe my fx3 system is operational. is there still any benefit to replacing the shocks with the bilstein fx3 even if not operational? I dont want to diagnose the system in the future just dont have time atm. If there is no benefit to the fx3 i might replace with regular shocks until i am rdy to diagnose.

You could bag and tie off the actuators on the car and do just plain old shocks if you wanted. Make sure not to toss your FX3 shocks and any hardware that you remove (clips and such). If you bag the rears and hang them in the frame rails wire them so that retrieval isn't an issue.

What year car and where are you located?
