Hawk brake pads

I just installed these on my 85 and all I can say is there are great. 100% better then my Raybestos. I never would have thought there would have been that much difference. :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:

Where did you get the pads? I have been trying to find a set of pads that will work as well, if not better than Delcos.

I put some on less than 5000 miles ago. I didn't notice a big difference but the old ones were down to the "squeak bar". :mad I couldn't stand that noise for very long.

How is the cold stopping performance? On my 85, I can't lock the brakes at all. I'm using Raybestos right now. Not easy to find pads for the 85. Apparently they changed the design afterwards, and there's not much demand for 84-85 (86?) pads.

Dave that is how mine where before. I couldn't skid if I had to. Yesterday I tested that and the front tire locked up with no problem :yesnod: Cold or hot it makes no differences. Yah for some reason the guy with the 84-87 vettes have a very limited amount of chooses..
