Is there any way to test them short of putting on the car and see if the light goes on and then read the codes to see which one.
Need to be installed and hopefully in the correct locations, the codes cleared to reset the receiver and a key-on check I believe will confirm the sensor condition. There are different codes for "low tire" and "bad sensors". I believe it can be done at the ALDL connector by just jumping A - B.
I believe before doing a "key-on" check though I'd do a road test of sufficient length to maybe energize the sensors. I'd clear all codes first maybe.
best I recall the clearing can be done also at the ALDL but that it requires also a key-on and off sequence also. The FSM procedure is I believe it.
