Hi
What year ? always post the year of your car when asking for help.

It sounds like you're actually looking for the water pump mounting studs and I thought they actually could be two different lengths depending on the position. Do you recall if it's the upper or the lower? Do you have the old one? What is the dimension under the hex and the dimension above the hex.
Are you looking for the long lower bracket bolt that has a Torx head??
As mentioned try vette2vette especially for that lower bolt. Most of the other attaching bolts will be common metric sizes so places like Lowe's or Home Depot would be a good source. The bolts for this particular application will be a metric Grade 8.8

He mentioned "studs" and there are only two BUT if he's actually referring to the longer bolt that inserts from the front then you just need to buy the appropriate socket head cap screw. I'd think that very doable also. The two longer ones from the rear towards the front are just metric cap screws. M10X1.5X105 and 110 and they are 9.8 spec.
The one front to back I'd think goes directly to the cylinder head so it's 3/8-16 and whatever length (measured).
Yes it is an 86. sorry for the late reply. Its the stud that mounts the compressor bracket over the passenger side of the water pump. I unfortunately don't know if it is the upper or lower one though. it is threaded on each end and has a hex nut in the middle of it.
Measure from the hex towards each end and post back. The way to easily accomplish the "fix" is by a hex cap screw that is threaded to the head and a 3/8-16 flange nut, cut the head from the bolt and double nut it and install the stud through the water pump using the second nut to secure the stud, remove the second nut and use another flanged nut to secure your bracket. You loose nothing from a security aspect and retain the capability of using the stud.
Could you find a stud? Yes but it could take some time unless now that some have seen it they may have one in the spares!
Is the second one already installed in the water pump?
Expect dimensions similar to these 2 3/4+/- and 1 3/8 +/- OR 2 1/4 - and 1 7/8 +/-
You do NOT want to use threaded rod instead.
At Fastenal they would be called a "TAP BOLT" or at a very good hardware or machine shop. A Grainger Supply maybe.
Thank you everyone for your help. I have found exactly what I've been looking for. But now I have a new question. Where an I find the torque specs for the bottom compressor bolt that has the flat side on

I looked in my '86 FSM. There is a picture of the compressor, bracket and bolts on page 1B-18, but the text for that picture is not there. There seems to be several sections missing. No torque info.
Just make sure the Torx bit is all the way into the bolt. My ratchet hit the compressor clutch and the bit did not go all the way into the bolt head. See post #5 for a picture of the result...
