I also run BSP with my 84 and have passed every inspection with it installed. I've had several people consult the rules after they been beat by a "Cross-fire" and no problems with the brace.

Just ordered mine today. With the holiday weekend coming up, don't expect it until next week and that's OK. Look forward to putting it in.

dave i have a 84 with a 383 stroker in. it doesnt look like it will fit? it looks like my ac lines will be in the way? will it fit? my other question is could it be ordered not painted with the decals off the brace. if i get one ide like to have it chromed befor install. lmk. :cheers:

Did you change any pulleys on the front of your engine? Did you stroke the L-83 or use another engine for the base? What are you using for belt tension?
If you can, email me some engine pictures of the front of the engine area.

If we could get 5 Cross-bar sales in a group, I could drop the price to $260 each and split the shipping. (instead of $17.50 frt, would be $8.75). And so it does not take away from Brooke's raffle, I will donate $10.00 from each sale to the fund. Let me know and I'll get it set-up in the Mall.

You know, I was going to either sell mine through the forum or return it (still brand new in the box). However, since I've been hearing everyone rave about it, what is an additional 20 pounds? Looks like I'll install it to verify all these claims about stiffening up the car in the corners! :)

I'm considering a ATI Pro-Charger next year - does anyone know if the Camber-brace will interfere with the blower installation? TIA! :)
