Last call on this GP!!

I'm going to shut it down this week, so if you want in, do it now.

Thanks,
Dave

I was expecting an improvement and wasn't disappointed.

Mostly highway driving so far with no hard driving/cornering yet but the front end does feel stiffer with noticeably less steering wheel shake while driving over bumps with the top off.

Like others have said before, you make a great product and your customer service is second to none Dave. You da man. :D

I am very initerested in a camber brace too... but I'm concerned that it may interfere with the belt tensioner, which can already be tight to access... I just changed out my alternator last week, would I have had to remove the camber brace if one had been installed??

On your model, the Camber-brace does not interfere with access to changing the belt or the tensioner. I can't recall if the alternator could be changed or not, but the 88/L-98 model brace is one of the easiest ones to install and remove. Second time installer could probally do it in less than 30 minutes.

Does anyone have any *objective* data to support the idea that this product makes a significant contribution to a C4s handling and in what classes of autocrossing is it legal to have one on a C4?

At 55mph on the off-ramp near my house, I had "wheel hop" without the brace. With the brace 60 mph is as smooth as if I am on rails.
Not objective - but it is a quantitative metric.

Got an LT5 brace worked out yet?
I just emailed them about this today. I'll let you know what they say. Early in this thread he mentioned that he needed someone to swing by and let them take measurements, etc. I can't believe that there isn't someone in his area to do this.

Yeah.. I know... Bummer... I had been waiting for it to come around and when it did, I missed it.... The $150 was going to put a strain on my budget, since I'm having to have head gaskets replaced soon, but I was going to do it anyway since sooo many people have said sooo many good things about them... But I guess it's a sign from GOD!! ha!... and there are many things I actually NEED more... this was just something i WANTED...
I did email him and asked him to contact me directly if the $150 group purchase is ever offered again.... Who knows... maybe someone who ordered one will change their mind after they get it and end up selling theirs...
Looks like there was at least 3 of us who wanted to save the $37 over the regular price... Seems weird to me that someone would pass up $450 in sales over a $101 difference, but I don't have a business degree so I must not understand how those things work!! ha!!!

I wish there was an LT-5 somewhere that I could get ahold of for a day. All of them around St. Louis are nothing but show cars and it's show season. :(

I talked to another guy today and like all the others, "Yea, I'll come over" so we'll see.

To everyone that missed the GP, I'm sorry. I did extend it for 2 weeks.

How about if I throw in a free T-shirt or something to offset the difference?
