Default 85 throttle body

Where do you set the idle set screw to, what do you use as a reference, should the throttle plates be closed after setting. I thought the ECM sets the idle anyway so I'm not sure what's the purpose of setting this up.
Thanks

don't adjust that screw and you will be way ahead of the game! if it's already been adjusted, it will have to be adjusted by a procedure which I do not have at the moment.

Installed a new throttle body, set up the TPS, IAC, and the car was just barely idling when cold so I did try adjusting the screw, it seemed to help a little but I'm not sure it's set right.
