Default Wire problem?

I replaced the passenger door lamp with a new one. It is only working when pushed on and not when the door is opened. The rest of the interior lights do come on when the door is opened. I obviously have power to it and the jamb switch is operating. Any ideas?

I would be looking/testing the switch contacts and check to see if there is ground present at white wire with door open.

Thank you! I will check that. Is it supposed to ground on the door or somewhere else?

The white wire gets ground from courtesy light timer.
