Default Going for Nitrous, need a little help please

Hello everyone

Now im going for nitrous. For the moment a have Supercharged L98 with superram. Im looking for 75-150HP. I have thinking to go for NOS. Is there any kit that I can go for directly? Partno? Or do I have to order everything separate? I must also have partnumbers for every neccesary accessories like, fuel pressure safety switch, purge valve + some other things that you recommend me

I have a Walbro 340 pump. Will that pump handle 500+150 HP??
If not What extra pump are you recommend me?

I have Accel 30lbs injectors, Do i need to put bigger first? If so size?make?

Anyone pics over Supercharged, superram L98 with nitrous?

I hope I get lots of replys,

regards

Tomas :D :D :D :D :D :D

Good luck with adding that much Nitrous to an already supercharged L98. Is the motor a built motor or stock bottom end.

Hello Vette92

Yes it is a built motor with almost the best parts money can buy.

DAMN IT! i wish i had a digital CAM! i would show you my setup on my vette! i am running a 150shot with 10psi...To be honest i never need the Juice but i have ran into me being dumb and drunk and having fun on the bottle :reddevil But my bottom end is stock, actually my whole motor and injection is stock except the injectors i have 24# (stock 22) So my L98 has 100K on the block and she is standing like a champ! So i dont know as for fuel, etc...? I do have a MSD 6a, MSD wires and coil? but other then that it is stock engine? Trust me you will have fun and the kit i have is a 5151 from NOS it sits right after the throttle body and it works well with my speed density system on my car. Thanks i hope this helps! :D

You can get away with a lot more at that elevation too. I know one motor was supposed to go up to Denver from LG's and I want to say it was a 11.5:1 396 running 14psi of boost (in a Camaro). He said he would not even run that thing on the dyno here in Dallas.

Yes Very true! 5280 above Sea Level makes a huge difference and even on some day's with some tools at the track i have seen the air be so thin when you would run your car it was like 8000 feet above...So that is true...as for in dallas i had a friend that had TA with 150shot and 8psi and it was tuned to the tea and he had the best engine work money could buy and his car lasted 50K and that is running it hard? I am no machnic but i know his car was fast and i should call (cliff) and has him if he still has the car!

Hello Krivera

I was looking in summit racing for the NOS 05151 kit and found it, but is the plate between the superram and the Throttle body for 52 or 58mm throttle body? I need 58mm plate. And try to borrow a digital cam from some friend so i can see your setup. Thanks

regards

tomas
