What are your performance goals with the car? Drag racing, autocross, track days???
What is the overall condition of the car now? How many miles area on it? What is the condition of the trans (what trans is in the car?) and the rest of the driveline?
Adding lots of HP is one thing, but you will also have to get it to stop. You will most likely be looking at improving the braking performance and the handling. Tires will be another consideration as it's pretty hard to find OEM tire sizes now.
You need to create a budget and a timeline for the upgrades. Do you have to have the car pass an emissions test? That can make a difference in the engine upgrades you do.
Remember: Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?
it depends on whether or not you bought it to tinker with....there are a few mods you can do and lots of help on this forum...putting another engine into a tpi vette is a very big deal...if you can, depending on where you live...get rid of smog crap/ egr. and get some headers...that'll spice it up some without breaking the bank....there are some mods////hyper chip/air foil....that don't work...check them out on the forum..there are thread that tell you exactly what works and how to do it...good luck...Paul
