One other thing glock. Check to make sure the precats are not falling apart. They can make some silly noises too.

There was an article in a recent Corvette Fever about a flex plate sounding like a "knock". It had appearently been driving the owner crazy. Someone spotted the crack in the surface of the plate.

Hmm.. it wasn't cracked when we redid the motor. However, when we were testing the torque converter for vibration by unbolting it from the flext plate, the flexplate did bang the converter hard once.
I guess I'll have to take the dust cover off to inspect it for that.
