Hood cable broke/need a part

I posted a couple of weeks back about my broken hood cable// made the tool out of 1/4" round rod and it worked great once I located the lever/ made a set of the "emergency" releases ( thanks forum ). What I found is the lever that releases the hood pin has a clip on the end that the cable end hooks to and the left one broke---where can I source that part or do I need to go to a salvage yard??
