Need Brake Rotor Help

The stock rotors suck, I know that. But I am on a budget here. Can I turn my rotors if they're warped? Has anyone done this?

You can turn them if they are not to thin,if you get them too thin they just warp easier from the heat. Any shop will measure them, if they are too thin they wont cut em.

Not sure about the thickness of the rotors in early-mid year C4's but for my 92, the service manual says not to turn them. If they are warped, I don't think there is near enough material to correct that. Try an Auotzone or such and get rotors with a lifetime warranty. That way if they wear out early (like right after a track day) just take 'em back and ask for another set!!

TPIS has a great deal on drilled plated rotors for the early years $162 per pair.

Don't turn them, they shake again within months.....
Read about where the people who track cars get rotors. If they run stock brakes they throw rotors away all the time.
