header question

my chip disabled the air pump and egr. If i put on headers and dont keep the cats will it cause a code if i install o2 sensors in the collector?

As long as it's not a 1996 it should be no problem.

There are no downstream O2 sensors on Corvettes before 1996 so it doesn't monitor catalytic converter efficiency.

You've mentioned that previously and it's just "not so" - there's a 3d O2 on '94+ LT1's. It's not used in the fuel calculations but it is there.

I believe you'll find it in the right side "post cat"!

Since you mentioned a "chip" I'm assuming you have a pre-94 car with no post cat o2 sensors. So, no codes will be set by removing the cats with a system that doesn't monitor the cats.
