Wow boys, I have a pig! The corvette action center site says the curb weight for my '85 is 3540, and my door label says a whopping 3727lbs! It is a 4+3, and I suspect not having the glass top option to be a culprit, because I sure don't have anything else on it! :eek:

95AquaC4...is that weight original or what? That would be the lightest late C4 I have heard of...70 pounds for gas and 165 for you...puts you at an 'operating weight' of 3021 pounds! That is like 200 pounds lighter than my original 96 coupe with one option-power drivers seat...hmmm.
For others...admittedly it is a not always convenient, but fill the tank up to the top before you weigh and subtract a full 20 gallons (or not)...seems like Corvette gas gauges are quite inaccurate...my 96 will read full with less than 9 gallons in the tank!
Please not meant to be flame...just would like to see some consistency:)

Why is the C4 so heavy? MY 69 convertible with 350, AC and a full tank of gas weighed 3220.

My '96 CE roadster weighed in at 3493 with a full tank of gas, spare, and 315/35s all the way around at a SCCA Nat'l Tour event a couple of months ago. Oh, I was standing alongside it :jester

how is it you guys vettes are so light? my vette with me in it and spare, and full tank of gas weigh 3580. where do you guys have your vettes weighed ? i weigh 220 lbs. I had know idea that a 92 coupe weighed so much. :(
