Door Locks?

I just purchased an 87 and the spec sheet in the armrest says it has power door locks. I did not get anything with the car but a set of keys and I don't see any power door lock switch on the inside. Should it have a stand alone switch for the doors?

I guarantee you have one of these on each door. Look where the 2 squares are in your car

IIRC that wasn't an option until 93, but don't quote me..

I have an 86 that I just got and replaced the power door lock switches. They were underneath the door handles. I was wondering about the key fob too. Didn't know if I should have one or if they even came with the early c4's because I didn't get one when I bought the car.

You are correct.

OP - I'd suggest not attempting any sort of an after-market product to duplicate it either. The less you tamper with the electronics the happier you will be.
