Default Ignition switch?

I've got an 84 corvette. Replaced battery and when I turn the key I get nothing. No lights, no electronic dash lights, no click, NOTHING.
Checked battery and it is good

With the battery being good and if installed correctly you should have headlamps regardless of key position or actually regardless of key in ignition or NOT. Do you have lamps? Do you have stop lamps? Do the horns work?

When did it last work as it's supposed to? Just before the battery replacement or has it been a problem for some time?

Default Another thought

Doesn't that also have a fusible link on the positive battery cable?
I've seen that burn out and the car it happened on was basically dead even though the battery was good etc. That was on a mid 70's Malibu as I remember.

Check for 12v on the 2 red wires at the alternator, if no power on either, check the fusible links on the solenoid..

It has sat all winter, since around December. When I tried to start it a couple of weeks ago I got nothing. Replaced the 7 month old battery still nothing, no dash lights, no click, no power windows...
I just checked headlights, they do work.

Sabumnim,
Since you mentioned the car was sitting for 7 months I would suggest you check the ground connections.. This can easily be the culprit snd once cleaned and reattached/connected may resolve all your concerns. I would check this before getting to deep into other possible solutions. With all the good help here sometimes we get deep into probable causes and replacing parts which do not fix the problem. If the car worked 7 months ago and you made no changes then it can be something simple like a corroded ground wire not completing the circuit.
