I'll bet there are some good Performance Shops in Indianapolis! How much money are you ready to spend?

When i bought it for 4g from a family friend who has some pretty fast cars said it was fully tuned up and then it sat for 2 years before i got it ive already changed spark plugs and distributor cap and rotor, in the process of rebuilding my tbs i just need to buy the sensors, do you know where i could get the spring in the fuel pressure regulator if it needs to be replaced.

More pressure on the spring = More fuel

You don't need to weld on a pressure gauge. That is a nice/handy mod, but not necessary. Between the passenger's side frame rail and the engine, there is a rubber line for the fuel. "T" into that line (or make a temp replacement w/a "T" in it. Attache your pressure gauge there.

The new fuel pump won't change the fuel pressure (unless your stock pump couldn't meet demand anymore). The regulator is what controls pressure. Turn the adjusting screw on the bottom of the regulator CCW to increase pressure.

Whats the correct or `best` pressure for most crossfire systems?

12-13 psi. If I'm wrong someone will correct me

From the link above post.

...82 pump pushes volume of 9-13 psi. The engine likes around 12. The pressure is set by the regulator spring in the driver side TBI. Under load (or as the pump weakens) the volume starts to drop, fuel supply is not enough to keep up with the RPM's. Once it drops below 9 psi the motor starts to hesitate and loss power at higher RPM.
...The 85 pump pushes volume at 40 psi. Well above the 12 psi the spring is set at. The spring will step down the volume to 12 easily. And because the 85 pump is so far above the 12 your TBI's will always get 12. A weakening 85 pump has a long way to go before it can not deliver enough. The other advantage is you can pop the cap on the regulator spring and dial it up a bit. Some have gone as high as 14-15 psi."

Stock pressure pretty typically seems to be too low...generally they seem to like a little more than the the factory 9-13 PSI, but "Feed it what it wants!"

Check your U-joints, C-beam bolts. Rear tie rods.
