there is NO WAY that a 10.9 m will strip like that. I'd say there is something wrong with the studs themselves.
Bolts/studs that strength are as hard as a high school boy on prom night. They don't twist off or strip without a TON of force...like cheater pipes and 1" air-impacts from a truck tire shop.
I bought some adaptors from EZ accessory about 2 years ago and they have been great. I did have one stud break in the adaptor but that was MY FAULT....I forgot to tighten the nuts on the adaptor then I mounted the wheel and went on. That lasted for 6 months before I heard this odd rattle/tapping as it rolled...finally took the wheel off and a stud fell out. duhhh
..... Are the Mag lugs threaded deep enough to accommodate the whole stud ? .......
Yup, threaded longer than the studs and you can use longer studs with these lugs. Some people will cut the tops off for the really long studs instead of buying open end lugs.

I believe everyone's concern is that maybe the wheel nut is bottoming on the adapter. Is there maybe 1/4" or more recess from the wheel back-side to the wheel nut if you just drop in the wheel nut?
If you're happy with the fit of the adapters you either find a stud locally or just call it a day and dispute the charges. The vendor certainly boasts made in America with American equipment. Doesn't ever mention the source of components! I had a conversation with them to construct an adapter for a CTS spare and they struggled to "keep up". I've probably done a dozen or so projects with adapters/spacers and that was the first time I believe I had someone not understand what it was that I was looking for and expected. I didn't buy and explained to the fellow who it was for that I had what I thought a better vendor.
Nope shank won't even go through the weld wheels all the way with no lugnut spacer.
edit: I meant lugnut washer not spacer.
Yah I checked it, I've used these style long shanks with weld wheels a lot, they are thick and this is the recommended style lug and these lugs came with my wheels from the vendor. This is my 4th set of weld wheels
The longest is 1.343" and the shorter is about 1/32 shorter. Washers are over an 1/8 thick and I've used thinner washers on weld wheels before.
I have two new boxes of summit brand that measure the same about 1.34" and a few spare weld brand from my foxbody, two other used standard threads of who knows what brands. I'm swimming in weld wheels and lugnuts Mostly draglites though and that's why I checked out these rodlites incase somehow they were different and they aren't. Still I believe in being thorough and here is a pic of the two I used on the car.
Another pic where you can see the adapter and wheel installed on the car and one lug is completely removed while another is almost with the remaining three tight.
Here is a messed up thread only new-new lug cut in half. I have not cut the broken tips lugs because I am still debating how I will cut them. I will most likely cut a 1/4 pie section all the way down too try too retain the slug(tip) in it's location. Wish I had access to my college engineering classes equipment! A rockwell hardness tester, tensile testing machine(I forget the name) or just some of the saws they had would make this better. I only have a regular & mini die grinder at my disposal and I wasn't sure how the cuts would turn out. This lug was cut with the regular, but I'm thinking mini for the pie cut.
You can see the threads go beyond the stud and have no end tapper end like a tapered tap would leave and in fact will allow you too cut the tip off and run a much longer stud than the lug itself.

Reason: dirrrrr
FYI I bought a EZ-accessories set of adapters and another set of lugs and they go on way easier! Fit the hub nice too! .002 diff
I'm sure of it now the motorsport tech studs were junk or just not spaced right, it was the studs one way or another. Also the hub centric was way off, my hubs are 2.759 and they were 2.781.

told ya !
The EZ accessory stuff will serve you well. I'm planning on ordering MORE spacer/adaptors from them because the 1st set have been so reliable and trouble free.
